Recognizes Mobile Police Officer Steven Caserlo Dion Green as the posthumous recipient of the 2013 Alabama Legislative Medal of Honor for Law Enforcement, the state's highest law enforcement award.

Officer Green was born February 25, 1975, and died February 3, 2012, from a knife wound to the neck inflicted by a robbery suspect he had just transported to Mobile Metro Jail.

Officer Green served with the Mobile Police Department from May 22, 2010, until his death, earning respect for his conscientious adherence to duty.

The Legislature directs that a copy of the resolution be provided to his family as evidence of the state's admiration and esteem for his ultimate sacrifice in service.

The resolution was adopted by the House on April 11, 2013, and by the Senate on April 18, 2013.
