Recognizes the Scottsboro Boys Museum and Cultural Center, Concerned Citizens, and University of Alabama for efforts to seek posthumous redress for the Scottsboro Boys.

Acknowledges that eight of the nine Scottsboro Boys died falsely convicted of assault and rape.

Commends the Museum's leadership in obtaining pardons or exonerations for the Scottsboro defendants and bringing statewide, nationwide, and international attention to their case.

Recognizes University of Alabama faculty and students for conducting historical and legal research on the Scottsboro cases and outlining possible mechanisms for pardoning and exonerating all nine defendants.

Requests that appropriate state officials provide copies of the resolution to the Scottsboro Boys Museum and Cultural Center and the University of Alabama.
