Recognizes Deputy Jacob Bradley of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office as a nominee for the 2013 Alabama Legislative Medal of Honor for Law Enforcement.

On December 23, 2012, Deputy Bradley responded to a church on Robert Jemison Road to assist in locating a missing six-year-old child with special needs who was non-verbal.

Deputy Bradley hiked approximately one-half mile up a mountain, found the child tangled in vines near a steep drop-off, and carried her down to waiting paramedics; the child was unharmed.

Directs that Deputy Bradley receive a copy of this resolution as evidence of the legislature's admiration and esteem for his unwavering commitment and fortitude in saving the child's life.
