Department of Public Safety is urged to utilize federal rules to determine whether the driving skills test can be waived for military personnel with experience operating military commercial motor vehicles.

Department of Public Safety is urged to develop rules allowing commercial driver license testing to be administered by U.S. Armed Forces personnel at U.S. military bases.

Department of Public Safety is urged to develop a program cooperating with the U.S. military to assist commercial driver license applicants with missing or impaired limbs resulting from military service.

A copy of the resolution shall be forwarded to the Department of Public Safety and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
