Honors the Helen Keller Birthplace Foundation Board of Directors and staff for 59 years of dedicated service to Helen Keller's legacy and improving lives of blind and visually impaired individuals.

Commends "Camp Courage -- A Helen Keller Experience," an annual camp beginning October 2013 in Tuscumbia, Alabama for blind and severely visually impaired children.

Camp Courage will partner with the American Optometric Association Foundation to provide hands-on learning experiences in the arts and nature programs using senses other than sight.

Camp objectives include advancing participant achievement academically and socially while encouraging children to emulate Helen Keller's accomplishments.

Directs that a copy of the resolution be provided to the Foundation for display.
