House Joint Resolution mourning the death of Mr. Chester W. Freeman of Cullman, Alabama, who lived 90 years.

Mr. Freeman was born June 3, 1922, in Brushy Pond Community of Cullman County and was educated in the Cold Springs School System.

He was a World War II veteran who served on numerous boards including the Cullman Lions Club, Cullman City Parks and Recreation, Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce, and Cullman Regional Medical Center, and was active in St. Andrew's United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, sister Glenda (Grady) Kilgo, two children, six grandchildren, and multiple great-grandchildren.

The Alabama Legislature expresses gratitude for his abundant life and offers the resolution in tribute to his legacy and in sympathy to his family and friends.
