Commends Fran Whitaker for 23 years of faithful service to Alabama's forestry community with the Alabama Forestry Association prior to her retirement in December 2012.

Recognizes her work managing the AFA office, organizing association meetings, and serving as the public face and voice of the organization in Montgomery.

Honors her substantial contributions to Alabama's political process, including assistance in elevating United States Senator Jeff Sessions, Lieutenant Governor Kay Ivey, and United States Representative Martha Roby to high elective office.

Acknowledges her commitment to family as wife to Bob, mother to Steven and Karyn, and grandmother to five grandchildren.
