Commends the University of Alabama's Telecommunication and Film Department students and faculty for winning seven awards at the Broadcast Education Association's Festival of Media Arts in February 2013.

Dwight Cammeron (Instructor) and Shelby Hadden won Best of Festival in teacher/student coproduction for "April's Hero".

Rachel Raimist (Assistant Professor), Branna Burns, and Greg Kubik won Award of Excellence for "Art to Life"; Micah K. Russell won Student Music Video Award for "Gifted's 'Superstar'"; and Shelby Hadden won Student Documentary competition for "Never Got a Dime".

Greg Kubik won Honorable Mention for Long-Form Documentary for "Alabama Art Seen, Episode 102"; Jasmine Cannon, Ka'Leah Rodgers, and Zack Guiterrez won First Place in Student Interactive Multimedia for "Forest Lake Tuscaloosa Multimedia Project"; and Taylor Crosby won Third Place in Radio Feature Reporting for "Dorm Cooking Using a Microwave".
