Mr. Aubrey Elton Buchalter of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, died on March 3, 2013, at age 87.

Founded Capital Growth Properties, Inc., a successful construction company that developed properties in nine states, including the first student housing project in Tuscaloosa.

Was inducted into the Tuscaloosa Home Builders Hall of Fame and contributed to numerous community organizations including the Tuscaloosa Symphony Guild, Shriners International, and Boy Scouts of America.

Survived by five children, 14 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren; was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Barbara Buchalter.

The Alabama House of Representatives records his death with deep sadness and offers this resolution in tribute to his life and legacy.
