Ten members of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity at Troy University completed a 140-mile hike during Spring Break to raise money for Special Olympics.

The group walked from Troy University's quad to Panama City's Pier Park over six days, arriving on March 13, 2013, where they were greeted by friends, family, Special Olympics athletes, and Panama City Beach Mayor Gayle Oberst.

The Walk Hard program and the fraternity members' arrival were filmed by the Travel Channel for an upcoming documentary titled "Spring Break 24/7".

The House of Representatives conveys highest commendations to the Alpha Tau Omega members for their charitable efforts and directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to the fraternity for display.
