Acknowledges her winning the ACT College and Career Readiness Award for Alabama on March 16, 2013, and her selection as a finalist for the 2013 national award to be announced in Washington, D.C.

Notes her plans to attend Freed Hardeman University to study nursing and Spanish with the goal of becoming a travel nurse and working in mission work in developing countries.
