Mourns the death of Mr. Jethro "Jet" Harris, who died on March 19, 2013, at age 84.

Records that Harris was born April 28, 1928, in Orange Hill, Alabama, and served with honor in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, receiving the United Nations Service Medal and Korean Service Medal with two Bronze Stars.

Notes Harris honorably discharged in 1957, returned to Mobile, pursued higher education through trade courses and Bishop State Community College, and worked for the United States Postal Service until retirement.

Lists his surviving family members including nieces Avril Harris and Kathy Harris, nephews Raphael and John Harris, and numerous cousins and extended family.
