Recognizes Officer Chad Wynne of the Mobile Police Department as a nominee for the 2013 Alabama Legislative Medal of Honor for Law Enforcement.

On March 2, 2012, Officer Wynne responded off-duty to a commercial robbery at Winn Dixie after hearing the robbery alarm while traveling home.

Officer Wynne led a team of two other officers into the building and was shot in the chest when the group came under fire from a suspect.

Despite being gravely wounded and exposed to further enemy fire, Officer Wynne engaged the suspect and evacuated the building under his own power.

Directs that Officer Wynne receive a copy of this resolution as evidence of the legislature's admiration and esteem for his extraordinary courage in the line of duty.
