House resolution mourning the death of Mr. William Donald Dinges of Huntsville, Alabama, who died on April 8, 2013, at age 84.

Recognized Mr. Dinges as a successful entrepreneur and engineer who worked on the Apollo Project at NASA until the 1970s.

Opened the first Taco Bell restaurant in Alabama in 1969, expanding to seven total locations, and opened five Sizzler's Restaurants in Huntsville, Decatur, and Birmingham.

Survived by his wife of more than 64 years Beth Dinges, two daughters, one daughter-in-law, one son-in-law, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Alabama House of Representatives recorded his death with deep sadness and offered this resolution as tribute to his life and sympathy to his family.
