Ed Murphy is recognized as Citizen of the Year by the Tillmans Corner Chamber of Commerce at a banquet in his honor.

Mr. Murphy serves his second term as Second Vice President of Tillmans Corner Chamber of Commerce and works as General Manager of Hampton Inn, Tillmans Corner location.

His contributions include supporting Building Homes for American's Bravest, serving as Mobile Coordinator for the Gulf Coast Children's Foundation, and organizing the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Run in Mobile to honor a New York fireman who died on 9/11.

Mr. Murphy received recognition from the Department of the Air Force for participation in the Tim Davis Memorial Ruck March and from Hilton Worldwide with the WOW award for exceeding expectations.

The Alabama House of Representatives honors and commends Ed Murphy for his tireless dedication and exceptional abilities.
