Mourns the death of Mrs. Wilhelmenia Joyce Walker Horton "Mina" on March 26, 2013, at age 67.

Recognizes her 30-year career as an elementary teacher in Limestone County School Systems and selection as Teacher of the Year in 1998; continued service as ESL teacher at Butler High School in Huntsville after retiring in 1999.

Notes her membership in the National Education Association, Alabama Education Association, and Limestone County Education Association, and her active involvement in Center Grove United Methodist Church since 1974.

Lists surviving family members including her husband Earnest Horton, two sons, stepdaughter, grandchildren, siblings, and extended family.
