Commends Trevor Warren on winning third place among 1,893 entrants in the 2013 C-SPAN StudentCam Documentary Competition for his five-to-eight-minute video titled "The Strangers: Illegal Immigration in America."

Warren's winning documentary was broadcast nationally on C-SPAN and YouTube, with a special viewing scheduled for April 25, 2013, at Providence United Methodist Church in Spanish Fort, Alabama, where he is an active member.

Warren is a 17-year-old, home-schooled senior from Baldwin County who plans to study theology at Spring Hill College with a minor in communication arts/film production, and potentially attend divinity school at Duke University.

His documentary features interviews with the county sheriff, a United Methodist bishop, state officials concerned with immigration issues, and State Representative Randy Davis.

The Alabama House of Representatives directs that a copy of this resolution be provided to Warren in admiration and appreciation for his accomplishment and with best wishes for continuing success.
