Honors the Helen Keller Birthplace Foundation Board of Directors and staff for 59 years of dedicated service to Helen Keller's legacy and mission of improving lives of children and adults who are blind or have significant visual disabilities

Commends "Camp Courage -- A Helen Keller Experience," an annual camp beginning in October 2013 in Tuscumbia, Alabama for blind or severely visually impaired children

Camp Courage will offer hands-on learning experiences similar to those Helen Keller encountered, introducing participants to arts and nature programs where children learn through senses other than sight

Camp partners with the American Optometric Association Foundation and Optometry Cares to expand eye health and vision care access while advancing children's academic and social achievement

Directs that a copy of the resolution be provided to the Foundation for display
