Mourns the death of Mr. James Winston Anderson of Mountain Brook, Alabama, who died on March 30, 2013, at age 85.

Anderson was born August 13, 1927, in Birmingham; graduated from Ramsay High School and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from Auburn University.

Served as retired president of Thomas Foundries of Birmingham and held board positions with the Alabama Business Council, Sherman Industries, Compass Bank, and Steward Machine.

Was active in community organizations including Briarwood Presbyterian Church, Kiwanis Club, Birmingham Quarterback Club, and Country Club of Birmingham; enjoyed golf and was an Auburn football fan.

Survived by his wife of 52 years Jane Moore Anderson; three children James Winston Anderson Jr., Edwin Moore Anderson, and Virginia Anderson McDonald; and two grandchildren.
