Alabama House of Representatives mourns the death of Mr. Chester W. Freeman of Cullman, Alabama, who lived 90 years (born June 3, 1922).

Freeman was a World War II veteran who served his community through the Cullman Lions Club, Cullman City Parks and Recreation, Cullman Area Chamber of Commerce, and Cullman Regional Medical Center, and was active in St. Andrew's United Methodist Church.

Freeman was married to Hilda Jean Wood and had two children: Dr. Phil Freeman and Carolyn Peinhardt; he is survived by six grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren.

The House of Representatives expresses gratitude for Freeman's abundant life and offers the resolution in tribute to his inspiring legacy and in sympathy to his family and friends.
