Commends Harold Sorrells for his outstanding service to Opp, Covington County, and the State of Alabama on the occasion of his retirement.

Recognizes Sorrells' establishment and direction of MSJ Trucking, which promoted economic development and commerce in the region.

Honors his service as a member and Chairman of the Alabama Ethics Commission, and his leadership roles with the Alabama Trucking Association, including receipt of the Chester H. Webb Award in 2008.

Acknowledges his 15-year commitment to Lurleen B. Wallace Community College as an advisor and his generous scholarship donations, along with his service on multiple boards including Southtrust Bank, CCB Community Bank, Mizell Memorial Hospital, and various civic organizations.

Recognizes the Christian service and community dedication of Sorrells and his wife, Jeanette, through their work at the First Baptist Church of Opp.
