Commends the Charles Henderson High School Baseball Team for winning the 2013 State 4A Baseball Championship by defeating Brooks High School with scores of 7-4 and 7-2.

Team achieved 40 wins (school record), went undefeated in playoffs (10-0), undefeated at home (19-0), and undefeated in 4A competition (22-0).

Team also won the Terry Sikes Memorial Tournament and Jason Armstrong FCA Tournament, and was Area 3 Champions with a 14-3 record against 6A/5A opponents.

Charles Henderson was ranked No. 1 by the Alabama Sports Writers Association for the entire season.

Head Coach Derek Irons and assistant coaches Brandon Lee, Jonathan Jordan, Brett Stallworth, Sam Kitchens, Seth Graham, and Jeremy Jones led 17 varsity players to the championship.
