Commends Pinson Boy Scout Troop 14 on celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2013.

Recognizes Troop 14 as the second oldest Boy Scout Troop in the nation, having been founded in 1913, one year after the Boy Scouts of America was established.

Notes that 150 young men from Pinson have attained the rank of Eagle Scout, with 46 of those achieving this status under Scoutmaster Terry Salmon's leadership spanning more than 32 years.

Acknowledges Troop 14's contributions to the community and the successful careers and contributions to Alabama and the nation made by its members over the past century.

Directs that a copy of the resolution be provided to Troop 14 for display as evidence of the state's esteem.
