Authorizes the Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court to establish voluntary veterans' treatment courts to handle criminal cases involving veterans and active members of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Defines veterans' treatment courts as specialized sentencing dockets where courts contract with experienced treatment providers rather than providing treatment directly.

Permits the Administrative Office of Courts to seek federal funding for the establishment, maintenance, or expansion of veterans' treatment courts, with funds continuously appropriated for program purposes.

Requires state departments and agencies to collaborate with the judicial branch and provide financial and other assistance to establish and maintain veterans' treatment courts.

Takes effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor.
