• Expands the Alabama Athletic Commission's authority to regulate professional wrestling and tough man contests using the same regulatory framework applied to boxing and mixed martial arts.

• Defines professional wrestling as organized events between two unarmed contestants competing primarily for entertainment purposes, and defines tough man contests as boxing matches where contestants wear headgear and oversized gloves with cash prizes allowed.

• Increases the Alabama Athletic Commission from five to six members and grants the commission sole authority to license wrestling sanctioning organizations and tough man contest promoters, with power to conduct medical evaluations and impose suspensions.

• Establishes criminal penalties including Class C felonies for managers, promoters, matchmakers, and licensees who knowingly violate regulations, and Class B misdemeanors for professional competitors who violate the article (except for drug/alcohol provisions).
