• Defines the term "persons" in the Code of Alabama 1975 to include all human beings resulting from the union of male sperm with female egg through sexual intercourse or in vitro fertilization.

• Applies the legal definition of "person" to fertilized eggs or eggs relied on by a physician for implantation in the uterus in cases of in vitro fertilization.

• Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor, or upon otherwise becoming law.
