AL SB323

Authorizes the Chief Executive Officer of the Alabama State Employees Insurance Board, with board consent, to approve group voluntary work site benefit products offered by pre-approved insurance carriers.

Excludes major medical coverage from the types of group insurance products that may be approved.

Requires insurance carriers to have been previously approved pursuant to Section 36-1-4.3, Code of Alabama 1975, and by the Commissioner of Insurance.

Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor, or upon otherwise becoming law.
