Court costs, docket fees, fines, and restitution assessed in criminal proceedings are automatically deemed a judgment against the defendant immediately upon entry of conviction or adjudication of guilt.

The judge of probate shall record such judgments without cost upon presentment by the clerk of the court.

Any judgment shall be removed or satisfied if the underlying conviction is overturned on appeal.

The act becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor.
