Recognizes Alabama's 15th national football championship and eighth Associated Press title, with the team gaining 529 total yards and scoring 35 points by the third quarter before a Sun Life Stadium crowd of 80,120.

Highlights individual performances including quarterback AJ McCarron's four touchdown passes for 264 yards, running back Eddie Lacy's 140 yards and one touchdown as the most valuable offensive player, and defensive player C.J. Mosley's leadership in shutting down Notre Dame's offense.

Notes this was the third BCS championship for Head Coach Nick Saban, making him the only football coach in the modern era to win national titles at two different universities.
