Designates January 29 annually as Charles A. Poland, Jr., Public School Bus Driver Appreciation Day in Alabama.

Recognizes public school bus drivers as professionals entrusted with students' safety while operating large vehicles and supervising dozens of children from prekindergarten through high school.

Acknowledges that bus drivers perform their duties for very little pay and exemplify the highest standards of public service.

Honors Charles A. Poland, Jr., a public school bus driver who died in defense of his students on January 29, 2013.

Encourages all Alabama citizens to remember Poland's sacrifice and express thanks to all public school bus drivers on this designated date.
