Mourns the death of Mrs. Dorothy Lee "Dot" Bishop of Russellville, Alabama, who died on March 10, 2013.

Recognizes her 36-year teaching career in Russellville City Schools and her selection as an Outstanding Elementary Teacher of America in 1972.

Acknowledges her leadership roles in the Franklin County Retired Teachers Association and Franklin County Retired State Employees Association, and her volunteer work with Safeplace, Meals on Wheels, and Hospice of the Shoals.

Notes her 55+ years as a devoted member of North Highlands Church of Christ and her support of her husband during his two terms as Mayor of Russellville and his appointment as a United States Marshal.

Records the legislature's deep sadness at her death and extends heartfelt sympathy to her surviving family members: sons Ralph Bishop, Jr. and Chris Bishop, four grandchildren, and multiple sisters and other relatives.
