Authorizes municipal court judges and magistrates to assess a $100 warrant recall fee when recalling a failure to appear warrant for municipal ordinance violations.

Fee must be paid by the defendant at the time the warrant is recalled.

Warrant recall remains discretionary and is not mandatory for judges or magistrates.

All fees collected are deposited into the municipal corrections fund and allocated pursuant to Section 11-47-7.1 of the Code of Alabama 1975.

The statewide authorization does not supersede existing local laws allowing warrant recall fees; the state fee applies only in municipalities without pre-existing local warrant recall fee ordinances.
