Amends Act 87 of 1955 to authorize the Judge of Probate of Mobile County to create and establish administrative divisions within the office as determined necessary or convenient for efficient operation.

Grants the Judge of Probate discretion to assign functions and duties to divisions, delegate powers to division chiefs, and reassign functions between existing divisions.

Requires division chiefs to be appointed by the Judge of Probate, serve at the judge's pleasure, and prohibits chiefs from being related to the judge by blood or marriage.

Sets division chief salaries between 80 percent of the minimum salary for the administrative assistant position and 80 percent of the maximum salary for the chief clerk position in the Office of the Judge of Probate.

Division chiefs are in addition to other clerks or assistants previously provided by law or designated by the Mobile County Personnel Board, with the act becoming effective immediately upon passage and gubernatorial approval.
