• Extends the boundary lines and corporate limits of the municipality of Trussville in St. Clair County, Alabama to include approximately 383.768 acres of specified territory.

• Excludes seven specific tax parcels totaling approximately 50 acres from the annexation through "less and except" provisions.

• Allows parents or legal guardians of students currently enrolled in St. Clair County school system receiving special services to elect whether their children continue in that system or transfer to Trussville City schools.

• Requires an annexation map to be filed and made available for public inspection in the office of the Judge of Probate in St. Clair County.

• Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
