HB367 Summary

• Provides state employees with a conditional salary increase of up to three percent beginning October 1, 2014, subject to available General Fund revenues, Finance Director recommendation, and Governor approval.

• Grants all eligible state employees a one-time lump sum bonus of $400 payable on December 1, 2014, for fiscal year 2014-2015 only.

• Excludes judges, local supplement recipients, and employees covered by labor agreements or contracts from receiving the increases or bonus.

• Requires the State Personnel Director and relevant legislative and judicial officials to revise pay schedules and certify changes to the State Comptroller for warrant issuance.

• Appropriates necessary funding from the Departmental Emergency Fund and reallocates bonus funds from HB 235 of the 2014 Regular Session to support the salary increase.
