Increases Alabama Commission to Reduce Poverty membership from 22 to 27 members by adding five new appointed positions.

New members include representatives from the Alabama Alliance to End Homelessness, Business Council of Alabama, American Association of Retired Persons (AARP), Alabama Affiliate of Habitat for Humanity, and Alabama Industrial Development Training Institute (AIDT).

Commission membership shall remain inclusive and reflect the state's racial, gender, geographic, urban/rural, and economic diversity.

Commission maintains existing duties to study and evaluate state poverty programs, economic impacts of poverty, and current policies affecting those in poverty, with annual reports due to the Legislature.

Effective the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
