• Judge of probate of Washington County shall assume all duties of the revenue commissioner related to assessment and collection of taxes on motor vehicles, motor vehicle titles, and non-motorized vehicles.

• Judge of probate must execute an additional bond in an amount prescribed by the Examiners of Public Accounts, with premiums paid from the county general fund.

• No motor vehicle license or title transfer shall be issued until ad valorem and sales taxes for the preceding year are paid, creating a one-stop tag purchase system.

• Judge of probate may mail license renewal applications as postcards to previous licensees, with county commission authorized to establish a mail order fee not exceeding $3.

• All fees and commissions collected by the judge of probate for these services shall be deposited into Washington County's general fund; act becomes effective June 1, 2015.
