• Amends Section 11-32-3 of the Code of Alabama 1975 to allow one or more public corporations to be organized for county public transportation systems in counties with a population of at least 600,000 according to the last or any subsequent federal decennial census.

• Permits multiple public corporations to be created for transportation purposes, rather than limiting counties to a single corporation.

• Corporations organized under this chapter remain subject to its provisions even if the county population subsequently falls below 600,000.

• Repeals Section 11-32-15 of the Code of Alabama 1975 (formerly Section 15 of Act 2013-380).

• Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor, or upon otherwise becoming law.
