Transfers employer contribution responsibility for probate judges' retirement from the state to individual counties, effective October 1, 2014.

Counties must pay monthly "normal contribution," "accrued liability contribution," and administrative expense percentages for each probate judge into the Judicial Retirement Fund.

Allows judges with at least 120 months of creditable service to purchase up to 12 additional months of retirement credit by paying the combined monthly contributions of both the judge and state.

Requires payments for additional credit purchases to be made in full at least 30 days prior to the judge's last work date before retirement.

Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and gubernatorial approval.
