HB554 Summary

• Establishes a replacement license fee for stolen, lost, or misplaced assisted living administrator licensing cards, to be determined by the board.

• Requires applicants for assisted living administrator licensure to pay an annual administrative fee as determined by the board.

• Requires persons holding expired licenses to follow all procedures for new licensure and pay a reapplication fee established by the board.

• Allows the board to discipline assisted living administrators who have entered pleas of nolo contendere, guilty, or no contest in cases involving lewd or lascivious acts, inappropriate sexual conduct, or any crime punishable by imprisonment exceeding one year.

• Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
