Provides the Sheriff of Lowndes County an additional expense allowance of $10,000 per annum, effective the first day of the month following passage, payable in equal monthly installments from the county general fund.

Increases the annual salary of the Sheriff by $10,000 per annum beginning with the expiration of the incumbent sheriff's term, payable in equal monthly installments from the county general fund.

The expense allowance provision becomes null and void once the salary increase takes effect upon the next sheriff's election.

Repeals all conflicting laws and becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and gubernatorial approval.
