Applies to the incumbent Judge of Probate of Lowndes County who has served 16 years as of the bill's effective date.

Increases annual compensation to 90 percent of the annual salary paid by the state to the state district court judge in Lowndes County, beginning in the judge's seventeenth year of office.

New salary replaces all other fees and allowances previously provided by law.

Salary payments are distributed in equal installments consistent with other county employee payment practices.

Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and gubernatorial approval.
