Exempts the Alabama Association of Rescue Squads, Inc., and member rescue squads in good standing from state and local lodging taxes for official meetings.

Adds new subsection (iv) to Section 40-26-1, Code of Alabama 1975, establishing the tax exemption alongside existing exemptions for nonprofit camps, conference centers, and long-term rentals.

Exempts the association and member squads from all county, municipal, and local lodging taxes.

Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and gubernatorial approval, or upon otherwise becoming law.
