Commends Officer James Wade Johnson of the Clanton Police Department for being selected as the 2013 Law Enforcement Officer of the Year.

Officer Johnson graduated from the 67th Session of the Selma Police Academy in 1988 and began his law enforcement career with the Chilton County Sheriff's Office under Sheriff Billy Maddox.

Joined the Clanton Police Department in 1991 and is currently assigned to the Probation Division, having faithfully served Chilton County citizens for over 25 years.

Chief Brian A. Stilwell presented Officer Johnson with the 2013 Law Enforcement Officer of the Year Medal for his service to the City of Clanton and dedication to law enforcement.

House adopted the resolution on February 6, 2014, and Senate adopted it on February 12, 2014.
