Urges Congress to call a constitutional convention under Article V to propose a "Marriage Preservation Amendment" defining marriage as the union of one man and one woman.

Proposed amendment would prohibit any state constitution or laws from defining marriage in any other way and prevent recognition of other unions with legal incidents within the United States.

Constitutes a continuing application by Alabama until at least two-thirds of state legislatures make similar applications under Article V.

Interprets Article V to limit any convention called under this provision to proposing only the specified marriage amendment, with no power to vary its text or propose other amendments.

Requires copies of the resolution be sent to federal legislative leaders and all state legislatures in the United States.
