Commends the Alabama Federation of Women's Clubs (AFWC) on its 119th Annual State Convention held at the Marriott Hotel in Huntsville, Alabama, on April 24-27, 2014, with the theme "Together we can make a difference-in our communities, our country, our world."

Recognizes AFWC's 119 years of service since its organization in 1895 and charter into the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC) in 1907, including efforts in education, natural resource preservation, citizenship, health, world peace, and the arts.

Notes that AFWC currently has 1,500 members across 60 clubs throughout Alabama and provides a networking system for individual clubs to communicate and coordinate community service efforts.

Recognizes AFWC President Roberta Atkinson's selection of Breast Cancer awareness as her Special Project for 2012-2014.

Directs that a copy of the resolution be provided for appropriate presentation and display.
