• Commends Cody Steward, a twelve-year-old sixth-grader at L.E. Wilson School in Sheffield, Alabama, for his outstanding achievement at Camp Courage in October 2013.

• Camp Courage is a three-day intensive program for visually impaired and hearing impaired children ages 7-14, held at Ivy Green (Helen Keller's birthplace) in Tuscumbia, Alabama, and sponsored by the Helen Keller Birthplace Foundation, American Optometric Association Foundation, University of North Alabama, and University of Alabama at Birmingham.

• Recognizes Cody Steward as an exceptional student with intelligence and pleasant personality who participated in educational, social, and inspirational activities including arts and crafts, music, drama, field trips, and discussions.

• The Alabama Legislature honors Cody Steward's diligent pursuit of excellence and extends congratulations on his accomplishments with best wishes for continued success.
