Honors Blaise Murray, an 11-year-old sixth-grader at Russellville Middle School, for his outstanding achievement as a trailblazer at Camp Courage in October 2013.

Camp Courage was held at Ivy Green, the historic birthplace of Helen Keller in Tuscumbia, Alabama, and is a three-day program for visually impaired and hearing impaired children ages 7-14.

Camp Courage is sponsored by the Helen Keller Birthplace Foundation and the American Optometric Association Foundation in conjunction with the University of North Alabama and the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

The resolution commends Blaise Murray for his diligent pursuit of excellence and extends congratulations on his accomplishments with best wishes for continuing success.

House adopted the resolution on 06-FEB-14 and the Senate adopted it on 12-FEB-14.
