Recognizes Darwin as a sixth-generation lifelong farmer and owner of Pine Lawn Farm, Heart of Dixie Popcorn and Supply, and Darwin Development

Acknowledges his leadership in the American Agriculture Movement in the early 1970s and 1980s and participation in the 1979 farmer tractor protest in Washington, D.C.

Lists survivors including his wife of 54 years, Frances Lamb Darwin; son Barton Jackson Darwin; daughter Sammie Darwin Walls; five grandsons; and one great-granddaughter
