Commends Ahbee Orton, a 13-year-old seventh-grader at Florence Middle School, for her outstanding achievement as a trailblazer at Camp Courage in October 2013 at Ivy Green in Tuscumbia, Alabama.

Recognizes Orton as an exceptional student with ambition to become a teacher, noting her talents in singing, piano, technology use, and reading.

Camp Courage is a three-day intensive program for visually impaired and hearing impaired children ages 7-14, sponsored by the Helen Keller Birthplace Foundation and American Optometric Association Foundation in conjunction with the University of North Alabama and University of Alabama at Birmingham.

The resolution honors Orton for her diligent pursuit of excellence and offers congratulations on her accomplishments with best wishes for continuing success.
